Daily Itinerary

1. Day 1

   Baltra Island, Santa Cruz Island

   Depart 14:00

   Ecuador

Baltra Island is a pivotal port in the Galápagos, historically rooted and now a gateway to adventure. Must-do experiences include sampling fresh ceviche de mero and exploring the nearby Isabela Island and Las Tintoreras Islet. The best season to visit is during the warmer months from December to May.

2. Day 2

   Sullivan Bay, Santiago

   Arrive 08:00Depart 11:30

   Ecuador

Sullivan Bay on Santiago Island is a pristine volcanic landscape in the Galápagos archipelago, where nineteenth-century pahoehoe lava flows create an otherworldly terrain of rope basalt, hornitos, and pioneer cacti framed by brilliant Sally Lightfoot crabs. The essential experience is a guided geological walk across the lava fields, complemented by Zodiac wildlife encounters along the shoreline. The Galápagos enjoys relatively stable weather year-round, though the warm season from January to May brings calmer seas and better snorkelling visibility, while the cooler garúa season from June to December offers more dynamic wildlife activity and nutrient-rich waters.

3. Day 2

   Rabida Island, Galapagos Islands

   Arrive 15:00Depart 18:00

   Ecuador

Rábida Island is the Galápagos' most colorful landing site, with a striking red-sand beach created by oxidized volcanic iron, sea lions lounging on the crimson shore, and a palo santo forest sheltering nesting pelicans and flamingos. Must-dos include walking the red beach, snorkeling with sea lions, and checking the salt lagoon for flamingos. Warm season (Jan–May) offers the best snorkeling conditions.

4. Day 3

   Punta Vicente Roca, Isabela, Ecuador

   Arrive 08:00Depart 11:30

   Arrive 15:00Depart 18:00

Bartolomé Island is the Galápagos' most iconic landscape—a volcanic moonscape crowned by Pinnacle Rock, where equatorial penguins swim in turquoise waters and the summit trail reveals 360-degree views of the archipelago. Must-dos include the boardwalk summit hike and snorkeling with penguins, reef sharks, and sea turtles. Both seasons offer excellent wildlife; the cool season (Jun–Dec) brings the most active penguin encounters.

8. Day 5

   Las Bachas, (Santa Cruz)

   Arrive 13:00Depart 14:00

   Ecuador

Las Bachas is a pristine white-sand beach on Santa Cruz Island in the Galápagos, serving as a critical green sea turtle nesting site and home to flamingo lagoons and marine iguanas. Must-do experiences include swimming in the sheltered turquoise waters, observing sea turtle nesting tracks, and watching flamingos in the brackish lagoon. January through May offers the warmest water for swimming and snorkelling.

9. Day 5

   Daphne Island

   Arrive 13:00Depart 14:00

   Ecuador

Daphne Major is a small volcanic cone in the central Galápagos, famous as the site of the Grants' groundbreaking forty-year study of Darwin's finches that documented natural selection in real time. Zodiac cruises reveal nesting blue-footed boobies, tropicbirds, and rich marine life around the island's tuff cliffs. Landings are restricted to researchers; both seasons offer excellent wildlife viewing from the water.

    Ecuador

North Seymour Island, a gem within the Galápagos archipelago, is renowned for its remarkable biodiversity and stunning volcanic landscapes. Must-do experiences include hiking the island’s interior to witness nesting frigatebirds and snorkeling in nearby crystal-clear waters. The best season to visit is from June to December, when the weather is cooler and wildlife activity is at its peak.

11. Day 6

Must-dos include snorkeling with sharks at Kicker Rock, visiting the Interpretation Center, and highland tortoise viewing. The Galápagos offers extraordinary wildlife year-round, with warm season (Jan–May) best for snorkeling.

12. Day 6

    Punta Pitt (San Cristobal)

    Arrive 15:00Depart 18:00

    Ecuador

Punta Pitt is the Galápagos' only site where all three booby species—blue-footed, red-footed, and Nazca—nest together, set on a dramatically colored volcanic headland at San Cristóbal's eastern tip. Must-dos include the challenging 2.5km trail through multicolored tuff formations and close-range booby observations. Warm season (Jan–May) brings nesting activity; cool season (Jun–Dec) offers cooler hiking and active marine life.

13. Day 7

    Puerto Ayora, Galapagos

    Arrive 08:00Depart 18:00
