Mistral is the name of a strong wind and of a famous writer, but also of this beautiful standard ship that sails on the Rhône and Saône rivers offering a rich historical experience. The MS Mistral is an intimate-sized standard ship, measuring 110 m long and 11,40 m wide. It can accommodate 157 passengers, in 78 cabins spread over two decks. All cabins (single, double or triple - including a suite) offer amenities and provide guests with all the comforts they need during their stay. The navy blue and gold tones are a tribute to the sailing universe. Located on the upper deck, the restaurant, where all meals are served during the trip, offers a delicate cuisine in a refined setting, where large windows allow guests to fully enjoy the panorama. On this same deck is also the lounge/bar with a dance floor, while on the sun deck, an ideal place to relax and admire the landscapes, passengers can enjoy comfortable sun loungers, as well as a large shaded area.

Before dinner, games and quizzes are hosted by our entertainers in the lounge bar. On the sun deck, where you can stroll alone, be with family or friends or sit comfortably in the sun loungers, gymnastics sessions are organised in the morning whilst enjoying the magnificent views of the landscapes that pass by.

Gratuities are at the discretion of passengers. Tipping practices vary widely between countries and cultures. At CroisiEurope, tips are distributed equally among all crew members. This gesture from our passengers reflects their appreciation for the quality of service and attention they have received throughout their cruise, at every level. How much should I tip? A tip of €5 to €10 per person per day is a common guideline, but each passenger is, of course, free to give any amount they feel appropriate. For your convenience, an envelope will be placed in your cabin on your final evening aboard. You can leave it in the designated box at the reception desk when you disembark. This information applies to river and sea cruises operated by vessels in the CroisiEurope fleet.
