1. Day 1

   Denpasar

   Indonesia

Denpasar is Bali's authentic capital city, where morning temple offerings, gamelan music, and bustling traditional markets reveal the island's living Hindu culture beyond the tourist resorts. Must-dos include tasting babi guling (suckling pig) at the Pasar Badung market, attending a Kecak fire dance at Uluwatu Temple, and exploring the Bali Museum's ceremonial art collection. The dry season (April–October) offers the best weather, while the Nyepi Day of Silence (March) provides a uniquely Balinese spiritual experience.
