Seasonal farm-to-table recipes personify the cuisine and traditions of the British Isles. In more recent times, the region has embraced the myriad cuisines of the cultural melting pot that has shaped the isles and made cities like Dublin and London destination cities for foodies. Inspired by Darina Allen of Ballymaloe in Cork, Ireland, and other revered chefs of the region, this class is a far cry from bangers and mash.

Austin Renaissance: A Tex-Mex Fiesta

Executive Chef Kelly has had a chance to get to know this emerging culinary darling since her daughter and family have re-located to the Texas capital. As she samples the city’s most notable restaurants, she is constantly on the lookout for flavourful, savoury Tex-Mex recipes you can easily make at home. In addition to learning her favourite recipes, you’ll also try a featured cocktail from one of Austin’s mixology masters. If you love Tex-Mex food but are reluctant to try it at home, then this class is for you.

Caribbean Heart & Soul

Caribbean recipes are brimming with both heart and soul – and are easy to make at home too. Few cuisines can be called a true mosaic, but Caribbean cuisine is a magical fusion of tastes and cooking traditions from Africa, the Middle East and Europe. You’ll learn how to balance and bloom spices as well as layer and build flavours. These are skills you can use again and again, regardless of what you are cooking at home. Explore the unique cuisines and culinary diversity of islands throughout the region – the ultimate melting pot of delicious flavours and ingredients.

Discover Patagonia

The culinary world has its eyes on the cuisine of the Patagonia region. Regarded as the hot new cuisine, chefs have traveled to these remote parts to learn the secrets of Argentine grilling, as well as Chilean roasting and baking. Attend this cook-out class that features delicious and hearty dishes that you will definitely want to make at home to impress your friends. No meal in Patagonia is complete without wine, so a special focus will be made on sampling and pairing the region’s varietals.

In the Kitchen with Jacques

Help us celebrate the glorious career of our Executive Culinary Director, Jacques Pépin. Regarded in the chef community as the master of technique, Jacques has demonstrated a lifelong passion for culinary technique that inspired this class. Brush up on your knife skills and master the emulsion – the secret to perfect salad dressings. Prepare a collection of delicious dishes while practicing the basic techniques that chefs have learned from Jacques over the past six decades.

Mediterranean Journey

The Mediterranean is revered for its cuisine and this class allows you to take an epicurean journey around the region, celebrating signature dishes from France, Greece, Israel, Italy, Morocco, Spain and Turkey. Each class reflects your Chef Instructor’s personal favourites from their years of tasting and traveling throughout the Mediterranean. Without a doubt, this class is a guest favourite and the chefs enjoy featuring wines and recipes from their most recent journeys across the majestic Mediterranean Sea.

Most Requested Red Ginger

Our famed restaurant Red Ginger is the inspiration for our class devoted to Asian cuisine. In this class you will explore two diverse cuisines: Chinese and Thai. You will master classic Asian ingredients as well as fundamental cooking techniques such as knife skills, mise en place and high-heat cooking. You also will learn how to work with rice paper and pad Thai noodles.

EPICUREAN EXPLORATIONS

Our Culinary Discovery Tours™ take culinary exploration one step further. At select ports, accompany Chef Instructors while shopping for fresh ingredients ashore at local markets, experience authentic regional fare in private homes or chef selected restaurants and immerse yourself in the local culture through the lens of the cuisine.

Governance

We have a strong corporate governance system in place to provide high standards of transparency and accountability and strive to be a leader in ethics and responsible business practices.

Special arrangements can be made if you require diabetic, gluten-free, lactose-free, kosher, vegetarian and vegan meals. Other diets must be requested for approval and, in some cases, may require additional medical documentation.

Kosher Dining

Our new supplier for frozen kosher pre-packaged meals is Borenstein Caterers Incorporated from New York. This company was established in 1946 and is providing food services to all travel and retail markets. PrePackaged Glatt Kosher Meals are produced under the supervision of the Union of Orthodox Jewish Congregations of America (the OU). These meals are presented in plastic containers and double wrapped and served with an OU seal. All items intended for the oven are double wrapped.

All breads are Pas Yisroel and all dairy products are Cholov Yisroel.

INSTRUCTIONS ON PRE-ORDERING:

Guests will be able to view all selections online at oceaniacruises.com and will be required to pre-order their selections no later than 150 days prior to sailing for cruises outside the US and Europe, no later than 120 days prior to sailing for Europe cruises and cruises in the US. Guests will still need to complete an order form indicating their selections and submit the form via email to Special Services for handling.

Kosher Menu

Vegetarian

We do offer Vegetarian meals onboard. We do not have a Vegetarian menu, however, guests are able to select dishes from our existing menus and the chefs will adapt the recipes to be in line with their dietary requirements. 

WHAT IS OCEANIA CRUISES’ NEW ADULTS-ONLY POLICY?

Beginning 7 January 2026, Oceania Cruises will now exclusively welcome guests 18 years of age and older at the time of embarkation on all new reservations. This policy ensures that every voyage delivers the serene, sophisticated and adultfocused experience our guests value most.

WHY IS OCEANIA CRUISES MAKING THIS CHANGE?

This decision is based on extensive guest feedback. Our travellers consistently tell us that they choose Oceania Cruises for itscalm, tranquil atmosphere and the company of like-minded adults. Moving to an adults-only environment allows us to focus on what our guests appreciate most—refined service, cultural enrichment and unhurried exploration.

HOW DOES THIS AFFECT EXISTING BOOKINGS WITH CHILDREN?

All existing bookings that include guests under the age of 18 years which were made prior to 7 January 2026 will be honoured in full. There is no impact to these reservations. The policy will only apply to new bookings made on or after 7 January 2026.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I WANT TO BOOK A FUTURE CRUISE WITH CHILDREN?

While Oceania Cruises will focus exclusively on adult guests, our sister brands — Norwegian Cruise Line and Regent Seven Seas Cruises — offer exceptional voyages designed for families and multi-generational travellers. Your travel advisor, Norwegian Cruise Line or Regent Seven Seas Cruises representative can assist with rebooking options or recommendations.

WHY IS THIS POLICY SPECIFIC TO OCEANIA CRUISES AND NOT TO THE OTHER BRANDS IN THE NORWEGIAN CRUISE LINE HOLDINGS LTD. FAMILY?

Each brand within the Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd. family serves a distinct audience. Oceania Cruises’ ships and experiences are crafted for adult travellers seeking tranquility, cultural immersion and relaxed sophistication.

HOW WILL OCEANIA CRUISES VERIFY THE AGE OF GUESTS?

A valid date of birth will be required at the time of booking for all guests. Proof of age with valid passport will be requestedprior to embarkation.

WHAT IF MY TRAVEL PARTY INCLUDES SOMEONE WHO WILL TURN 18 BEFORE SAILING?

Guests who are 18 years of age or older at the time of embarkation are eligible to sail. Reservations may be made as long as the guest will meet that age requirement by the embarkation date of the voyage.

WILL THERE BE ANY CHANGES TO ONBOARD PROGRAMMES OR AMENITIES?

No. Oceania Cruises’ ships are already designed for adult travellers. This policy simply formalises what our guests already experience — refined service, culinary excellence and immersive itineraries without youth programming or facilities.

DOES THIS CHANGE APPLY TO FULL-SHIP CHARTERS OR GROUP BOOKINGS?

The Adults-Only policy applies to all standard Oceania Cruises sailings. Exceptions for private full-ship charters may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis with executive approval.

HOW WILL OCEANIA COMMUNICATE THIS CHANGE TO GUESTS?

The new policy will be reflected in our Terms & Conditions, Guest Ticket Contract, website copy and booking confirmations. Guests will also see reminders at the time of reservation, on invoices and in pre-cruise communications.

WHAT SHOULD I DO IF I HAVE QUESTIONS ABOUT MY BOOKING?

Guests can contact Oceania Cruises’ Guest Services or their travel advisor for assistance. Our teams are prepared to answer questions, update records and provide support for any rebooking needs.

The sale and consumption of alcoholic beverages will be limited to guests aged 21 years or older with certain exceptions as detailed below. Guests are kindly reminded to consume alcohol in moderation. Oceania Cruises reserves the right to prohibit and retain all alcohol bought ashore for consumption onboard the vessel.

Guests who are 18 - 20 years of age can purchase and consume beer or wine when the ship is in international waters (3 miles out of US territorial waters, including in the Caribbean) with the consent of an accompanying parent. Authorization will be given only when the accompanying parent completes the Young Adult Alcoholic Beverage Waiver form. This form can be obtained and completed at the Reception Desk upon embarkation of the vessel. However, Guests 18 years of age or older are permitted to consume alcoholic beverages when sailing on roundtrip European voyages without having to complete the Young Adult Alcoholic Beverage Waiver form. Guests who are between the ages of 18 and 20 years of age will not be allowed to consume any alcohol on any Alaska or New England sailings. 

Service animal requests are reviewed on a case by case basis and must be in compliance with ADA requirements.
