Gratuities
We often receive questions regarding the appropriate gratuity for guides and crew members. We believe that the amount should reflect the quality of service provided. Based on experience, we recommend tipping between US$70 – US$95 per day for the crew. This would total approximately US$490 - US$665 for a 7-night cruise, and US$840 - US$1,140 for a 12-night cruise, per guest. For private charters, the suggested tip is between 7% - 10% of the total amount paid. Please note that these are just guidelines, as tipping is a personal choice. Gratuities can be paid by credit card or cash, using the envelopes or designated boxes provided. The Cruise Director will offer further details on board.
