Named after the famous German virtuoso, the MS Beethoven sails on the Rhine and Danube rivers. It takes cruise passengers to discover the many wonders offered by these two romantic rivers. Completely renovated in 2010, the MS Beethoven is a standard ship that measures 110m long and 11m wide and accommodates 180 passengers in 90 cabins on 3 decks. The size of a cabin is between 11.50m2 to 13m2, offering amenities and providing guests with all the comforts they need during their stay. The refined decoration and the elegant and friendly atmosphere are in perfect harmony with its environment. Located at the main deck, the restaurant, where all meals are served during the cruise, offers a delicate cuisine in a refined setting, where wide windows allow you to fully enjoy the panorama. Situated on the middle deck is the lounge / bar with a dance floor, while a piano-bar welcomes cruise passengers on the upper deck in a cozy atmosphere. Comfortable sun loungers are provided on the sun deck, the ideal place to relax and admire the surrounding landscapes.

Many activities and entertainment are offered on board – and we encourage our guests to join in on the fun. Before dinner, games and quizzes are hosted by our entertainers in the lounge bar. On the sun deck, you can stroll alone, be with family or friends, sit comfortably in the sun loungers, or enjoy a drink while enjoying the passing landscapes. Want to keep fit? Gymnastics sessions are organised in the morning, and you can jog or walk the riverbanks during free time in port. The panoramic lounge bar, the library and the "pianorama-bar" (the latter 2 are available on some boats only), are refined and furnished with taste. It is nice place to spend quiet moments after returning from excursions for example. Often, lectures on subjects related to the history and geography of the places visited, are offered in the lounge bar. Some evenings, the dance floor of the lounge comes to life. Musical evenings, folk groups or singers, variety shows where the crew members reveal their hidden talents, are all chances to let loose after a day of touring! And don’t forget the Gala evening – a farewell to your new friends. There’s no lack of fun to have on board, or memories to take with you!

Gratuities are at the discretion of passengers. Tipping practices vary widely between countries and cultures. At CroisiEurope, tips are distributed equally among all crew members. This gesture from our passengers reflects their appreciation for the quality of service and attention they have received throughout their cruise, at every level. How much should I tip? A tip of €5 to €10 per person per day is a common guideline, but each passenger is, of course, free to give any amount they feel appropriate. For your convenience, an envelope will be placed in your cabin on your final evening aboard. You can leave it in the designated box at the reception desk when you disembark. This information applies to river and sea cruises operated by vessels in the CroisiEurope fleet.
