Perched on the hillsides, the village of Saint-Émilion is revealed along the winding streets, through its shaded squares or at the top of a stopover from which the panorama of the roofs of the city, and beyond the vineyard, is striking. It is in the heart of this medieval setting, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1999, that Le Logis de la Cadène is nestled. Founded in 1848, Le Logis de la Cadène is the oldest restaurant in Saint-Émilion. Over time, the family inn has become an institution and has crossed the ages to today be a gourmet restaurant, a charming hotel and a private mansion deeply anchored in their land and their history.
